Does a bot join my call?
No. Open Translator listens on your own device. Nothing is added to the meeting.
Which apps does it work with?
Anything that plays sound on your Mac: Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Slack huddles, webinars and videos. On iPhone and Android, the app listens through the microphone or captures media playing in another app; capturing call audio directly is Mac only.

The app is free to download and gives you 15 free credits every day. Precise mode and Premium features use purchased credits or Premium.
Where does my audio go?
Speech is sent to cloud speech and translation providers to produce captions. If you rate a caption, that clip and its text are sent with your rating to help improve recognition. Voice clone stores the sample you record. Speaker recognition runs on your device. Agent sync is off by default and uploads text only, never audio.
